Prof. Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela speaks with Ernestina Simelane, mother of late apartheid victim Nokuthula Aurelia Simelane. Her interviews with Ernestina were the basis for Pumla's chapter on "The Crying Voice" in the book Narrating our Healing.
Prof. Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela describes how the women's movement grew across racial divides during the early years of the Anti-Apartheid struggle in South Africa.
Prof. Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela, of UCT's Department of Psychology, discusses the project of transformation at the 320-year old Solms Delta wine estate in Franschhoek, which she spoke about in her inaugural lecture titled "The 'Face of the Other': Human dialogue at Solms Delta and the meaning of moral imagination", delivered at UCT on 11 November 2010.
